Poizen Ivy's Birthday Bowlarama
April 9, 2003 - Jillian's HiLife Lanes

So I'm another year older, but I'm not so sure about the wiser part.

When I learned the BowlingToVegas guys would be arriving on my actual birthday I decided the bowling gods wanted me to throw a soiree, and the new HiLife lanes downtown at Jillian's would be a cool place to do it.

Aside from some bowling technical difficulties like super slick lanes and approaches that were possibly constructed of sandpaper, everything went pretty well. Unfortunately, Guskie had to get six stitches after he fell while running up the down-escalator, which kinda sucks. And there was no cake. I contemplated swiping some from the other birthday party, but that wouldn't have been very lady-like, would it?

Anyway, the staff at Jillian's was super-nice and it was a lot hipper than The Castaways, that's for sure. Thanks to everyone for showing up and buying me drinks.
