As part of WorldFolk's Battle of the Bands Los Angeles' White Trash Debutantes returned to our fair city to play on the Vegas Strip. Too bad few people other than me and my friends seemed to know about the show.

There were lots of kids playing video games, but they didn't seem interested in shelling out the 10 bucks to gain access to the performance area. No matter, the band still shredded through a set that included Heartbreaker and Disobedience (and Jake also shredded through some guitar strings... let's just say there were a few technical difficulties).

After packing up their equipment, most of the band headed over to Utopia for the rest of the evening, while Ginger Coyote accompanied us to the Las Vegas punk rock clubhouse, the Double Down Saloon.

The Debutantes energetic performance managed to score them 4th place overall, but due to previous commitments, the band was forced to withdrew from the competition.
