Sin City Sounds Spotlight - The Applicators at the Cooler Lounge

The Applicators are a totally cool, kick-ass quartet of punky chicks from Austin, Texas. They were here last November opening for Betty Blowtorch, and they survived a 10 hour drive from L.A. to get to this show (hopefully they got the fuel-injection in the van fixed).

Sabrina, Erica, Kristina and Stephanie rocked the roof off the place with songs from their CD What's Your Excuse, a couple new numbers and they dedicated Momma's Boy to the recently departed Dee Dee Ramone. Definitely a fun, must-see band!
